We are seeking a strategic and creative Head of Marketing to join our team and lead our brand’s marketing initiatives. This role is for a forward-thinking individual who is passionate about modest fashion and experienced in driving brand growth through impactful campaigns.

You will play a key role in shaping TudungPeople’s brand voice, strengthening our presence across digital platforms, and leading a talented marketing team to deliver results that align with our values and business goals.

TudungPeople is a growing modest fashion brand based in Malaysia, specializing in stylish and high-quality hijabs, scarves, and modest wear. Our mission is to empower women through fashion while staying true to modesty and elegance. As we continue to expand locally and globally, we’re looking for a leader who shares our vision and can elevate our marketing efforts to the next level.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a compelling brand identity that reflects TudungPeople’s core values.
• Conduct regular market research to understand our audience, fashion trends, and competitors.
• Strengthen brand storytelling across all touchpoints.
• Oversee omnichannel marketing across our website, social media (especially TikTok), pop-up stores, and physical retail.
• Ensure consistency in tone, visuals, and messaging across all platforms.
• Collaborate with the e-commerce team to drive traffic, conversion, and sales through SEO, paid ads (Google/Facebook), influencer marketing, and email campaigns.
• Analyze marketing performance and make data-driven decisions to optimize results.
• Plan and lead seasonal campaigns, product launches, influencer collaborations, and Raya collections.
• Manage offline activations including pop-up events, bazaars, and customer engagement programs.
• Lead and mentor a growing marketing team.
• Work closely with social media, branding, and e-commerce departments to ensure alignment on all initiatives.
• Coordinate with external agencies and partners to execute campaigns effectively.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ years in marketing, preferably within fashion, e-commerce, or modest wear industries.
• Proven success in growing brand awareness, social engagement, and online sales.
• Strong familiarity with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms.
• Experience in managing both digital and offline campaigns.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Bonus Skills:

• Understanding of the Malaysian and global Muslim women’s fashion market.
• Creative mindset with an eye for visuals and copy.
• Knowledge of performance marketing metrics and tools (Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics, Mailchimp, etc.).
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.

We are looking for an energetic content creator who is always on-trend, with creative ideas on how to gain brand traction through creating and delivering innovative content that aligns with our overall vision of creating Tudung for the people, by the people.

As Content Creator you will work closely with the marketing team to ideate and develop digital content (both moving and static) for various platforms. You will assist with creative direction and execution to ensure that the content is of the highest possible quality, meeting the brand direction and values. Projects could include copywriting, photography, videography, design, motion graphics, video editing, photo editing, interviewing, directing, production managing.

You must be able to utilize all formats available to tell a story creatively, be curious and explorative in approach to the digital landscape for the 'next thing'. You need to understand digital platforms and want to create work that stands out with high attention to detail.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Premiere Pro and any photo/video editing software (including mobile).
• Proficiency and up to date with social media usage ie Instagram, Tiktok, Twitter.
• Fluent in English and good copywriting skills.
• Creative thinker with good ability to execute ideas.
• Able to create fresh, dynamic content in a diverse range of styles, techniques and subject matter.
• A strong grasp of colors, typography, composition and layout.
• Good photo editing capabilities.
• Ability to communicate their vision clearly and work with others in a team setting.
• Ability to multitask, working on multiple projects with varying deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Actively assist in developing social media plans and posts.
• Assist in creating contents, captions and posts through Social Media managing apps (inclusive of instastory, flatlays, videos, and all necessary content).
• To assist in producing captivating promotional content.
• To visualize & execute conceptual ideas for content.
• To edit and optimise offline content for physical stores.
• To assist in producing campaigns for social media.
• To assist in Campaign shoots inclusive of pre-production, production & post-production (poses, shots, BTS and #nofilters).
• Identify and evaluate channels that may be used for promotional purposes.
• Actively & frequently propose new and improved clickbait idea.
• Actively and frequently propose new and improved outreach ideas.
• To freely share knowledge, insight, best practice and ideas.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
